Jace Miller
Electronics engineer building local AI tools for industrial work.
Featured project
Local P&ID analyzer
Problem
Engineering documentation was manual. It took forever, and it kept our team from doing the engineering work we were actually there to do.
Solution
A local, automated P&ID analyzer for instrumentation engineers. It reads the drawing and writes the deliverables — running entirely on-premise.
It reads very dense drawings — and follows markup color codes
Other builds
Radiation test board
Senior capstone with Texas Instruments — designing and documenting a test head motherboard for radiation effects testing of semiconductors at the Texas A&M Cyclotron Institute.
Line-following robot
Three-wheeled autonomous robot. Steering control written in C on a TI LaunchPad, driving off line-detection sensors.
Cuffless blood pressure monitor
Measures blood pressure by pulse transit time instead of an inflating cuff. Instrumentation-amplifier front end to pull the signal out of the noise.
Yagi antenna
Designed and built a directional Yagi to pull in a local radio broadcast. Element spacing worked out by hand, then built and tested.
Distortion pedal
Analog guitar distortion pedal built from discrete passive and active components. No microcontroller anywhere in it.

Open to full-time roles
and local AI work
I graduate in May 2027 and I'm looking for full-time engineering work in my field — instrumentation, test engineering, embedded, and hardware. I also take on contract work building local AI systems like the analyzer above.
